Using this component you can perform DNS lookups, reverse lookups, get local ip and host name, check ip address validity trace and ping another host all from within your ASP pages.

Methods/Properties:

    Method Ping  Pings the given host.
    Method Trace  Traces the given host.
    Method Lookup  Looks up the IP address of the Host.
    Method ReverseLookup  Looks up the Host name of the server with given IP address.
    Method GetLocalIP  Returns the local IP of the server.
    Method GetLocalHost  Returns the local Host name of the server.
    Method IsValidIP  Checks the validity of an ip address.
